This session focusses on the Joint Form of General Conditions and will be an interactive session looking at what questions the JFGC provides the answers to including:
- What happens when a deposit is not paid on time?
- What is a noted encumbrance?
- What happens when settlement is delayed?
- When does the risk pass from a seller to a buyer?
- What does seller representation and warranty mean?
- What happens when a contracting party defaults?
We’ll thoroughly investigate and interpret the document, using case studies and scenarios to contextualise your knowledge. This session is primarily intended for sales representatives and licensed agents, though property managers who wish to understand the impact the sale of tenanted properties has on their activities are encouraged to enrol.
