The session will also investigate surveys such as Deposited Plans, Diagrams, Strata Plans and Survey Strata Plans and how to interpret these on a certificate of title.
Participants in this session will also be introduced to issues and risks around Buying entities – what if you get it wrong or the buyer wants to change the contract?

This session is heavily focussed on recognising the potential impact and major risk involved where an agency or individual within an agency fails to understand the impact of incorrect interpretation of a certificate of title.
This session takes a deep dive into the small things a representative does, that can make a big difference. It has a particular focus on reading, interpreting and understanding the Certificate of Title as well as understanding buying entities and the risks and issues involved when the rep gets this wrong, especially when dealing with investors. Strategies for avoiding these pitfalls are discussed, chief among which is well thought out communication with sellers and buyers.
