Email lists, registrations and courses

We will collect information that you provide to us when signing up to mailing lists, purchase online courses, register for our events, or during any correspondence with us via email or phone.
We use multiple tools to manage event bookings, online purchases and other correspondence with you. You may be subject to the privacy policies of their individual companies, and these can be provided to you upon request in writing.

Credit card information

Tokenised, encrypted credit card information is collected and stored by our payment gateway partner, eWAY. This information is stored for your ease of repurchasing of products. This information is not stored by us and can be removed from eWAY’s systems upon request in writing to either eWAY or WCPT.

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:

  • For the primary purpose for which it was obtained
  • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose
  • With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.

Third Parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties.
