This session will address the technical aspects of reading a certificate of title including; Encumbrances such as caveats, Notification and Restrictive Covenants. The session will also investigate surveys such as Deposited Plans, Diagrams, Strata Plans and Survey Strata Plans and how to interpret these on a certificate of title. Participants in this session will also be introduced to issues and risks around Buying entities – what if you get it wrong or the buyer wants to change the contract?
